TRADITIONAL LEAD CLIMBING - 1 DAY

This one-day program is an accelerated version of our popular Traditional Lead Climbing - 2 Day course and has identical content. We recommend that registrants in this program have a background leading sport climbs and understand basic lead climbing principles to better prepare them for the faster pace. Upon completion of the course, participants will have the skills  to safely lead single pitch rock climbs on their own.

For those interested in the Traditional Lead Climbing - 1 Day course, we recommend following it with our Multi-pitch Skills course which is always scheduled on the same weekend. The combination of these two programs provides an excellent overview of the skills necessary to begin exploring some of the multi-pitch climbs on the Chief.
